Take Down The Quarantine Sign!

I haven't posted anything new lately as the past few months have been brutal with the winter sicknesses. Spring is in the air and we are all feeling well again...yippee! Payson took this extreme close up picture of Austin when he was sick one of the many, many times this fall/winter, and so I'm posting it because those dazzling blue eyes pull you away from his sad little sickly nose.

Christmas 2008

We had a very nice Christmas and we hope you did too. We love and miss you all!

"Hannah Montana jewelry. Cool!"

"Hmm let's see, how does this thing work?"

"No,no, no Sis, that's not how you play basketball! Let me show you how it's really done!" Austin really loves his new B-Ball goal and is a natural athlete like his Daddy!

Both Payson & Austin love to draw, so they were really excited to get a chalk/dry erase board!

Even more presents in the mail. Wow, we are really loved!

"So Pace, how do you think we made out this Christmas?" "You know what Bro, I think we totally scored!" :>

Temple Lights (Christmas 2008)

Each year before Christmas we go to see the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple Christmas lights. It is a most cherished family tradition and a wonderful opportunity for us to reflect on our loving Savior Jesus Christ.

Going Back to Cali (Christmas 2008)

Just before Christmas I took a trip back to my hometown in Yucaipa CA. Garrett had to stay behind for work so it was just me and the kiddies. It was really nice to be with my family and the kids had a blast playing with their cousins! We made it back a few days before Christmas to be with Garrett.

While in CA I visited the house I grew up in. The owners were kind enough to let me go inside and show my children where I grew up. I totally cried!

Thanksgiving in NM with the Hassell's

We were able to go to New Mexico for Thanksgiving this year to visit Garrett's family. We had a fun and relaxing trip. Behind us in this picture is Mt Taylor. It was SO cold and windy that I can't believe we got out of the car to take a picture! But we really felt close to nature, I mean "literally" when we discovered (to the right of the picture) a lovely dead deer carcus! Good times!

It was SO windy and cold you can kind of see my cheeks being pushed upward.
