All summer long the idea of going back to school crowded my mind for some reason. Dental Hygiene has been a career I have considered getting into for a while and so after talking w/ some dental professionals I decided to take a DA course to see if I'd like working in that field. Though weeks of lots of hard work with studying and being away from the family on Saturdays, I graduated with flying colors. My first priority will be our family, but I'm excited to have more education and this certification under my belt, and a possible foundation to proceed into dental hygiene or other careers in the dental field!

Thanksgiving 2009
Our desktop computer & laptop broke last month, so I've been behind on updating our blog. This year for Thanksgiving we stayed home and for the first time had family here with us. Garrett's parents came into town for 4 days and it was so good to have family here. This year we made our pumpkin pie with sweetened condensed milk instead of evaporated milk and it turned out really yummy:> Unfortunately I have no pictures to post from TG because someone put their finger on the lens when they took the pictures and a big finger print came out on all the pictures...I won't name any names;> Regardless of proof from pictures, we had really nice day and counted our many blessings! We hope you did the same!! :>

Happy Halloween 2009

A week before Halloween we took the kids to the pumpkin patch and carved them that night. We had our church "Trunk or Treat" party the night before Halloween and the kids had a blast getting candy from each church members car. It was so nice to walk around in the cool weather and leave the yucky hot weather behind us!

They don't allow kids to dress up for Halloween at Payson's school, but her teacher had their class dress up in 50's costumes. I was a little annoyed as I ran around the night before to find this costume to only have 1 other child from her class dress up that day! Still it was fun for her and she likes having an extra dress up outfit to play in.
