Sleeping Beauty's Castle

Austin was a bit weary of Mickey Mouse, but what's funny is now he is obsessed with him. He even carries this stuffed Mickey Mouse around everywhere we go.

The Tiki Room. I remember this from when I was a child and the kids really got a kick out of the birds singing with the lights and water show.

Taking a rest by Sleeping Beauty's castle from the 100 degree heat.

Aladdin's Oasis

At first the Finding Nemo Submarine was a bit dark and scary for the kids, but they ended up loving it.

Next to the Buzz Lightyear ride, Payson's favorite ride at Disneyland was the Jungle Cruise.

Uncle Dick watched the kids so Garrett and I could be alone to watch the sunset. It was so nice to be kidless for just a bit!

Austin's all boy!

We were able to visit with my Aunt & Uncle in Palos Verdes and had a very nice visit. The kids couln't get enough of Uncle Dick and they had so much fun playing with him.

My cousin Arden

Four generations! It was so good to see my Grandma and Mom's side of the family.

Payson's 1st Day of Kindergarten

Payson survived her first week of kindergarten. The first few days were a big adjustment! She was quite exhausted from the long 7 hour full time schedule & she came out the first day saying, "Mommy that was way too long and boring!" But by the end of the week she seemed to be getting the hang of things. She has made new friends and is now very excited about school. It was harder than I thought sending our baby girl off to school for the first time (I totally cried, while Garrett rolled his eyes at me) and it made me sad to know she wasn't happy at first. But now I feel so proud to see how well she has adjusted and I'm looking forward to continue watching her grow into an amazing individual.

Hugging Mommy goodbye:<

Giving Austin a kiss goodbye...so sweet.

Ready for the 2nd day of kindergarten.

Still a little nervous & apprehensive on the 2nd day walking to class.

Summer Fun & Visit From Cousin

You could fry an egg on the cement it's so darn hot here in AZ! So this year we bought the kids a little pool for the back yard and have also enjoyed many dips in our community pool. After the 4th Garrett brought back our niece Karra from NM to spend the week with us. The kids had a lot of fun playing together...especially swimming! We're thankful Karra could come visit and to have so many things to keep us cool during the summer!
